Renaissance Jamboree |
| April 24th The 32nd celebration of Renaissance Jamboree will take place in Downtown Bloomsburg featuring: Original work by regional crafters and artisans. Local non-profits sponsor food and game booths to highlight their mission and fundraise in the community. Three big free entertainment stages offer fun music and performances. Food stands feature tasty carnival cuisine and homemade baked goods from local churches. Free shuttle service from the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Handicapped parking is available behind the Bloomsburg Public Library. There is no parking on Main Street on April 24 beginning at 2 a.m. and all day Saturday. Cars left Downtown overnight on April 23 will be towed. Please keep your pets safe at home. Entertainment: Flippenout, an aerial trampoline show featuring Olympic medalists and world class athletes, will return to Market Square. Visit flippenout.com for a preview. Other local groups performing in Market Square include Crosswinds Martial Arts, Rainbow Twirlers, Covered Bridge Cloggers, and Susquehanna International Folk Dancers. Musical entertainment includes the jazz of The Clickard Consortium, the swing of Seasoned Sounds, the 60s and 70s pop and soul hits of Joyous, and other local favorites. More musical entertainment will be scheduled. Performances on the children's stage will feature Elmo and the Backyardigans, the juggling and magic of Al Grout, and the whimsical music and hi-jinks of Acting Accordingly. The courthouse plaza project will be breaking ground some time in Mid March. The project will be completed in April.
